Sutton bank is located on the North York Moors, not too far from the famous ‘Kilburn White Horse’.
Has a few trails to offer, the most popular being the blue grade Fort trail – reasonably easy 9 miles (70% surfaced, 30% natural), heading out to Boltby Scar and taking in some great views over Yorkshire. Can be shortened to 6 Miles for a more family friendly route.
A longer 17 mile red trail, the Paradise Trail, extends the blue loop taking in some local bridleways and even more fantastic scenery. Best reserved for the summer months however, it’s not a maintained trail and can be very hard going in the winter.
Also has a 3 mile Green family friendly loop and a skills area.
Usual visitors center facilities, parking and cafe.
